Today, our female role models come from various backgrounds and talents. No longer are they solely from the aristocracy or upper class as Sargent magnificently depicted in his body of work. I am replacing the Wyndham sisters in the 1899 work by Sargent with a musician and actor to examine how we consider our growth as a society toward women.
